With a Tungsten-balanced output, the Mole Richardson 1600W Tener LED provides you with similar lighting possibilities as a traditional Baby Tener using LED technology. It features a 14" diameter borosilicate glass Fresnel lens, and a hybrid passive/fan-forced-air cooling design to handle any heat from the LEDs. With a CRI rating of 90, the daylight-like output provides a good reproduction of sunlight, and it can be dimmed from 100% brightness down to 0% without flicker and with only minimal color shift.
The fixture allows both local (manual) and remote dimming via DMX 512 protocol. Front and rear focus knobs allow you to vary the spot/flood beam pattern from 10 to 55°. The aluminum and steel chassis is powder coated to add corrosion resistance and the fixture is built to withstand the daily production grind. Included with the fixture is a 25' long head cable that connects the ballast to the head. Additional lengths of cable are available and the light has been tested to function with up to 100' of cable between the fixture and the ballast.
Mole-Richardson 1600w LED Fresnel Tener 10k
The fixture is similar to other Mole Richardson fixtures with 14" Fresnel lenses, enabling you to use it in the same manner that you would use an incandescent 10,000-watt fixture, without generating the same heat or drawing nearly as much power.
Local dimming control allows you to adjust the brightness of the fixture from the fixture itself, without introducing flicker at standard frame rates.
DMX 512 is the remote control protocol that the fixture supports, allowing you to adjust the brightness level of the light from a DMX 512 compatible panel (panel not included).
The power switch is incorporated into the ballast and not the light fixture itself. The ballast also incorporates a 20-amp breaker.
Although the fixture does not include barndoors or other accessories, it is capable of using accessories designed for a Mole Richardson 10,000-Watt Baby Tener.
